The Junction is a rural house, in the Hoeksche Waard, where residents can live in the countryside and at the same time have a separable workspace for working from home.. The design studio in which the design was developed was led by Marjolein van Eig (BureauVanEig) en Joost Emmerik (EMMERIK garden design and research).
The building has a upper part made out of hempcrete, which gives it a light feel, and a brick base with colours corresponding with plants and surfaces of the surrounding area.
